Catholic Relief Services of Atlanta is the international relief agency of the Catholic Church providing humanitarian relief and development assistance in 98 countries.  With a focus on programs that inform and engage Catholics about poverty and injustice overseas, CRS provides opportunities to build a more just world. Programs are available to parishes, schools and/or individuals.

Each year, Catholic Charities Atlanta serves between 7,000 and 8,000 new families, touching the lives of over 30,000 people in need.

Christian Foundation for Children and Aging's mission is to walk with the poor and marginalized of the world.

They provide personal attention and direct benefits to children, youth, aging and their families so they may live with dignity, achieve their desired potential and participate fully in society.

They invite people of good will to live in daily solidarity with the world’s poor through one-to-one sponsorship.

They build community by fostering relationships of mutual respect, understanding and support that are culturally diverse, empowering and without religious or other prejudice.

Fisher House

The mission of Fisher House is to provide without charge a caring and compassionate "home away from home" environment to service members and their families to enable them to be near a love one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.  As our military and congressional leaders aggressively address the significant and long term needs of critically wounded and ill military members, Fisher House supplies continuing "good news" stories of providing support for their families.

Knights of Columbus

Knights of Columbus is an International Catholic, fraternal, family and service organization.  Approximately 1.7 million members worldwide; local chapter (#4913) has over 260 members.

Service projects include the following:  help local disabled people, financial support to three seminarians studying for priesthood, sponsor local youth groups, support St. John’s church and school; provide yearly scholarship to a high school senior.  Also, the Ladies Auxiliary is active.

St. Francis Thrift Shop

The Thrift Shop provides support and material goods for Family/Children Services, St. John's Catholic Church, and any family in need that has a referral from a local church.

They accept cash, clothing, household items, anything in good condition that can be used.  The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Haven - The Battered Women’s Shelter

The Haven provides emergency shelter, food, clothing, medical and mental health referrals for women and their children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

    Pregnancy Support Center

The Pregnancy Support Center provides information and counseling on abortion alternatives, adoption and abuse.  They also provide pregnancy testing, pre-natal health care and grief support for the loss of a child.

The Child Advocacy Center provides a safe and nurturing environment to interview children who have been sexually abused.  Counseling services are available for the victims and their families.
