Carlo Acutis: A Millennial Saint for Our Time
A Young Life Filled With Faith
Carlo Acutis was born on May 3, 1991, and grew up in Milan. He loved computers, video games, and spending time with friends — but what set him apart was his deep love for the Eucharist. Even as a teenager, he attended daily Mass, prayed the Rosary, and offered small sacrifices for others.
Carlo used his computer skills to create a website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world. He wanted people to know that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist — not as an idea, but as a living reality.
Carlo died of leukemia on October 12, 2006, at just 15 years old. Even in his suffering, he remained peaceful and trusting, saying, “I offer all my suffering to the Lord for the Pope and for the Church.”
